DF64 Gen 2 macinacaffè

Description

DF64 Gen 2 — The legendary 64 mm single-dose coffee grinder, upgraded

The DF64 Gen 2 upgrades the legendary DF64 with a new motor, refined mechanics, and a built-in plasma generator to eliminate static. It remains the versatile value-for-money benchmark for both home use and small specialty coffee bars.

Who is it for?

• Home enthusiasts looking for high-level espresso and filter coffee.
• Small coffee shops with a single-dose workflow and a need for consistency.
• Users planning upgrades – a wide choice of 64 mm burrs and accessories.

Low retention

Low retention means you never mix yesterday’s grounds with freshly ground coffee. The result: fresher flavour, stable extraction, and consistent shots/drinks. The single-dose design with bellows helps purge any remaining grounds from the chamber after grinding.

Anti-static plasma generator (ioniser)

The plasma generator neutralises static electricity before the coffee leaves the chute. This means fewer clumps, less mess, and easier distribution into the portafilter basket or dosing cup.

Stepless adjustment

Infinite intermediate settings for fine-tuning based on your beans and brew method. Enjoy the freedom of micro-adjustments without being restricted by stepped clicks.

Burrs and motor

• 64 mm flat burrs – fast grinding, uniform particle size distribution.
• 250 W motor @ ~1400 rpm – more power and stability.
• 58 mm portafilter holder and metal dosing cup – compatible with most baskets.

Workflow and maintenance

• Anti-popcorn lid – reduces bean popcorning for a more consistent feed rate.
• Easy cleaning with the included brush.
• Bellows – quickly purge remaining grounds after grinding.
• Simple, reliable mechanics – fewer electronics, fewer points of failure.
• Optimised chamber – fewer dead zones, easier cleaning.

Warranty

• 2-year warranty.
• Standard protective foam packaging.
